Facade thermal insulation of a cultural heritage monument: example of the cadastral building renovation in Petrinja
In recent years, increasing attention has been paid to the energy renovation of cultural heritage buildings, where the biggest challenge is to achieve high thermal facade insulation for the preservation of the original appearance of the object. An excellent example of such a project is the recent renovation of the cadastre building in Petrinja, completed in the summer of 2024.

Basement wall and floor insulation in Petrinja
In July 2024, thermal insulation work was carried out on the floor and walls of the basement of a building that is a protected cultural monument in Petrinja.
The wall surface area was 90 m2, while the floor surface area was 200 m2. Polymer micro-ceramic thermal insulation was applied to the walls Bronya Facade up to 1.5 mm thick, applied in three layers.
The floors were treated with Bronya Classic polymer micro-ceramic thermal insulation, also up to 1.5 mm thick and in three layers. The drying of the basement space was accelerated by using a dehumidifier.
House insulation in Italy
As part of a co-funded energy renovation project, a company from Italy requested demonstration works to showcase the feasibility of using the Bronya Facade polymer-ceramic thermal insulation coating. The works were carried out during the pre-season under extremely challenging weather conditions (rain, high humidity), which caused them to last longer than usual during the season. The works were ultimately completed successfully, thereby securing our participation in an energy renovation project in Italy.

Facade damage repair and thermal insulation of the Building
The restoration of the damaged parts of the facade has been completed, and thermal insulation has been installed on another entrance in a multi-unit residential building in Zagreb, at Naserov Square.
On a surface of approximately 800 sq m applied Ceramic thermal insulation Bronya Facade in a total thickness of 2 mm. The final layer of thermal insulation is pigmented BASF carbon black pigment, thereby achieving an elegant light gray shade Facade.
House thermal insulation in Zagreb, Dubrava settlement
The thermal insulation of a family house in the Dubrava settlement in Zagreb has been completed. Insulation for the Bauhaus wooden house (Bauhaus Buzin – Zagreb)
In collaboration with the Bauhaus sales center (Buzin branch, Zagreb), we have insulated and thermally insulated a wooden garden house. The thermal insulation process began from the inside with the application of impregnation, for which we used Bronya Primer Universal. We then applied the primer to the exterior as well. The primer was applied with a roller. The next step was to apply the thermal insulation coating. Bronya Facade. For that procedure, we used an airless compressor Graco Mark X The pressure was set to 80 bar. We applied a total of 1mm internally and 1mm externally in three layers. The drying time between individual layers was 24 hours. After completing the thermal insulation process, we painted parts of the surface red and gray.
Thermal insulation of buildings in a residential area in Keln (Germany)
Thermal insulation Bronya Facade during the construction of a residential complex in Cologne, Germany. Houses and multi-apartment units in a townhouse complex in Cologne were protected with Bronya Facade thermal insulation coating. To increase thermal resistance, Bronya Facade thermal insulation with a thickness of 1 mm was applied to the walls, and 2 mm to the ventilation ducts. This extensive work was carried out thanks to the coordinated work of Bronya representatives in Germany, under the leadership of the team from the head office in Volgograd, and was supported by a set of tests and a set of regulatory documents and certificates.

Thermal insulation and waterproofing of a basement apartment in Zagreb (Vrapče)
Despite using a dehumidifier, the apartment was damp and cold before the renovation, especially in winter. The renovation consisted of waterproofing and thermal insulation of the floor, and thermal insulation of the walls. Polymer waterproofing was used. Roof insulation for a villa in Rovinj
April 2020. For roof insulation of 70m2 in Rovinj, we used Bronya Facade applied in 3 layers with a total thickness of ~2.4 mm. First, the roof base (siporex) was cleaned and impregnated with Bronya Primer Universal. Both the primer and the thermal insulation coating were applied using an airless sprayer, Graco Mark X. The work team consisted of only 2 workers, and the job was completed in 3 days.
Terrace thermal insulation and waterproofing – Zemunik Gornji
March 2020. For the thermal insulation of a 35m2 terrace in Zemunik Gornji, we used Bronya Classic which was applied in 4 layers with a total thickness of 2mm. After that, 2 layers were applied Bronya Light with a total thickness of 1.5mm. This completes the thermal insulation process. After that, we performed waterproofing by applying Bronya Aquablock Effect It has 3 layers with a total thickness of ~1,66mm. For the terrace finish, the investor planned tiles applied directly to the Bronya Aquablock waterproofing.

Zadar, Borik - canopy
In June 2020, a conversion from „PERGOLA TO CANOPY“ was carried out with the help of Bronya Facade. The work was completed in 2 working days, applying impregnation and Bronya Facade thermal insulation coating on a total area of approximately 14 m2. Application of both primer and thermal insulation coating was done with a brush and a putty knife. The Bronya Facade thermal insulation was applied in two layers with a total thickness of 1.4 mm. The work team consisted of one worker – the owner of the property, which further shows and confirms that handling and applying Bronya products is extremely fast, simple, and above all, functional.

Thermal insulation and waterproofing of the flat roof of a building in Zagreb
In Zagreb, there are many old buildings that have a thermally uninsulated flat concrete roof with a bitumen felt waterproofing layer. During sunny days, the surface temperature of such a roof can reach up to 60°C, which causes high cooling costs for apartments on the top floor during the summer. In winter, the thermally uninsulated roof creates high heating costs for the apartments.
Micro-ceramic thermal insulation “Bronya” effectively reduces cooling costs in the summer and heating costs in the winter due to its properties of reflecting solar rays and thermal insulation. It is quickly applied and more resistant to climatic conditions than other types of thermal insulation.
